Urban Agriculture November 6th, 2020
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great week. The plan for the Zoom meeting is to discuss how to grow different kinds of plants. We began this activity a couple weeks ago but ran out of time before we finished. The class will be interactive and will not be filmed or broadcast because I am looking for students to participate and interact with us over Zoom. I will provide a video of the Final Project description though. If you are not able to make it to the Zoom meeting and want to get participation points, please make sure you complete the activity at the bottom of the lesson and send it to me before Friday, November 13th.
Here’s the plan for the class:
1 – Brief check-in (how is you plant growing)?
2 – Interactive Blog 2 activity (pitch your idea to a classmate)
3 – Presentation about Final Project
4 – We will continue our discussion about growing plants and participate in this activity.
Here is a link to the Google Drive to access and store your work.
For those of you who want to get participation points and didn’t attend the lesson, please fill out the following template by doing research about the following plants (asparagus, edamame, watermelon, haskap, and raspberries).
